who is PT BOB? 34 years of auto and
vehicle customizing!
I have loved to modify automobiles since I
was a teenager....I did many vans in my teens. I would build one van a week without any help...I
would sketch the plan with the owners. Once sketched out I started through my steps
towards completion...This was 1975-1980.I would remove items not needed, Installed any
structural or wood panels needed, run all wiring for power, sound, or lighting. I offered vinyl,
leather and carpet for the interior. I also did all body, paint, and performance upgrades as
needed. A true one-man show back then. I was a kid then and knew no limits to make my
customers happy with their automobiles. It is this
approach I still use today with the Cal-Cru.

then, there were some main figures in the Auto industry
that showed me creativity with autos. As I look back now, I know of five
main inspirations that gave me strength to seek my
dreams. It is a dream to someday be recognized as a
creative auto designer as my mentors...PT

first to inspire me to begin to sketch and draw ideas for others.

2. Carrol Shelby...
Performance
creator inspired me to design engine and handling parts.
I devoted 20+ years to developing World Record
race vehicles and engines. PT BOB

Wildman
creator of the best Limo's and stretched autos in the world!
Vinni is a friend who I met during the van days. Vinni is a one of a kind creator.

it again!
4. George Barris...Creator
of many automobiles: Batmobile, Munster's, and more!
George inspired me to take a risk and create
custom vehicles without hesitation.
This People's Choice contest let PT BOB meet one of his mentors George Barris.

5. Boyd Coddington...living
legend Streetrod designer-builder .....
Called upon PT BOB to help with his most
important Street rod Woody.
Bob enjoyed the chance to work side by side on
this TV Streetrod.
I never really thought I would have a chance to
compete with my mentors.
