"PT BOB" first designed these lights back in 2000
for a real Old School look!
Follow these steps and it should only take a few
minutes per side to complete.
The first step is to un-screw the factory mounting
screw with a screwdriver.
Then release the factory tail lens from the body.
This picture shows the rear twist out factory bulb
sockets.
Twist the sockets until they release from the lens.
Place the lens in a safe place.
Un-pack the ROCKETs and set tham on a soft surface
before installing.
Now place each ROCKET in the rear area near the
correct side wires out.
Locate the ground wire for the ROCKET and prepare to
secure it down.
Use on of the supplied self-tap #8 screws and drill
into the inner ledge.
The Ground wire should look like this once it is
correctly tapped in place.
Now prepare to tap into each of the striped power
wires on the sockets.
Wrap one of the supplied T-taps around each striped
wire and lock it on.
Do this to all striped wires. Do not bother with the
black wires at all.
Once the first side wires are all t-tapped do the
same to the other side.
Now that both ROCKETS all t-taps in place, turn on
the parking lights.
Also turn-on the falshers so you can wire in the
turn light wires. 2006 shown.
Now check that all original bulbs have a light on.
You can now begin plugging.
Each ROCKET bulb has 2 power leads, 1 bright, 1 dim.
Plug in to the T-taps.
With the correct wires plugged in the ROCKET will
light the same as stock.
When we supply a RED/RED combo the upper dim with is
t-tapped in below.
Once done, you will have a Brake, Turning, and
parking light working.
Go to the other side and repeat the wiring steps
until all is the same.
After all lights are turning on correct, re-install
the ROCKET with the same bolt.
Here is the final look once the ROCKET is installed
correctly. Frenched 59 lights.
