PT BOB was the first to offer a side pipe exhaust kit for the PT back in 2000.

SEMA 2000 

This kit give a lowered look without lowering your PT.  POWER and sound....

First the stock exhaust needs to be removed.  We start with the muffler.

Then remove the mid-pipe by cutting forward of the Cat clamp as shown.

Here are the parts that make-up the SP-2 exhaust kit.  Retail $495.

Here is the SP-2 kit with side pipe covers. SP-2 covers $350.  

This kit can be installed at ground level but we prefer to get the PT over head.

Hang the side covers with tape while fitting the SP-2 exhaust in place.

The front mudflap needs to have a section cut off below the mounting screw.

Slide inline muffler in place and slide T-section into the muffler as shown.

insert the tips from the outside of the covers and align the parts from below.

Once all parts are in place they must be welded. Then bolt the covers in place.
