An opportunity of a lifetime! To win first place in the People's Choice PT Concept design competition for Chrysler!
The Magazine people said they thought Bob should enter this competition. There was to be 10 car designers competing in this competition. "We meant to mention it sooner but, at least enter something!" PT BOB was given only 2 days to sketch a design that he thought would be a special PT concept !
BOB had already created looks Chrysler wanted to give design awards to but do to using a non- Chrysler head light the awards were taken back. Bob learned that he had ability to create top looks. "2002 best concept car of the SEMA show" and "Best concept front end of SEMA 2002"
Bob was told in January that his design won! He also was told he had until late October to build it. 10 months was plenty of time to build this one-of-a-kind Woody. Months went by and it was not until July that the Magazine people finally got the car to Bob. Now only 3 months to build it! The Magazine people also informed Bob that the $80k to build it would also now be Bob's cost?! the opportunity to have a year of Chrysler showing Bob's work still seemed worth the effort! The magazine people constantly told Bob they were surprised how he always does what he says!
Here it is....PT BOB's TCC. First released at SEMA 11-04-2003. When Bob arrived at the SEMA
HERE'S A REAL ONE "WAVECREST 2003" HERE'S the TCC at the PTOC show 2004
This design energy has created the best PT Cruiser Woodies. This TCC was to be a model of the sketch.
We redesigned this PT Theme inside and out. PT BOB left the stock hood so some could see the PT is there.
Check out the F & R bench seats! The stock dash was also left. Collector AD
This model concept car #00 of 10 is a driver unlike most concept creations that do not run.
Bob and takes a short drive 12-13-03 Shot in front of the So, Cal Cruisers Showroom.
From the windshield back, it's very close to a real town and country in design.
We built this first prototype to bring PT BOB's Award winning "TCC" Design to life. This "TCC" is available for sale! Serious inquiries only! Asking $100.000. OBO
This is the current TCC being built for a customer with custom features! Auto history in the making! the best PT CRUISER WOODIES on EARTH! Where does Boyd Coddington go when he wants the best Woody work for his cars?
